FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

Everything venue owners usually ask before trying Q Kyun — apps, data, accuracy, and day-to-day use.

Does the customer need to install an app?

No. Q Kyun works through missed call, QR scan, and reception entry. The customer receives an SMS with their token number and position — no app download needed.

Does Q Kyun store any medical or personal data?

No. Q Kyun stores only the queue logistics needed to manage token flow — token numbers, positions, and phone numbers for SMS delivery. No medical records, no names, no diagnosis data.

Can it work for clinics and restaurants equally?

Yes. Q Kyun is built as a configurable queue engine. The labels, SMS templates, and settings adapt to any service venue — clinics, diagnostic centers, restaurants, salons, banks, and more.

Does it predict exact waiting time?

Not in V1. Q Kyun focuses on position clarity ('you are 5th in line') rather than unreliable time estimates. This is deliberate — position is always accurate, time predictions often aren't.

Can my staff use it easily?

The entire operator workflow is designed around a single dominant action: press Next. There's no complex menu, no multi-step process. Most receptionists get it in under 2 minutes.

What if my receptionist's phone goes offline?

The system shows a clear offline indicator immediately. Queue issuing pauses until connectivity returns. No misleading actions are allowed while offline.

How does the missed call token work?

Your venue gets a registered phone number. When a customer gives a missed call to that number, the system automatically creates a token and sends an SMS with their position. The SIM sits in the controller phone.

Can I block numbers that misuse the system?

Yes. From the Controller's Tokens tab, you can tap any caller's number and block them. Blocked numbers cannot issue tokens via missed call.
